RYE, N.Y., Nov. 3 -- Atlanta Web consulting group AVID Design was recently awarded Silver status in the Best Newsroom Category for a 400+ Bed Hospital by eHealthcare Strategy and Trends Magazine for its work on the www.PPH.org Health System Web site.
Winners of Platinum, Gold, Silver and Distinction Awards represented 17 industry classifications, from pharmaceutical firms to online health companies. Awards were issued in 12 categories, including Best eBusiness, Best Intranet sit and Best Newsroom.
Judges reviewed sites based upon a proprietary multi-point standard of Internet excellence. They also examined how individual sites compared with others in their organization’s classification.
“As always, competition was particularly intense in the large hospital class.” said eHealthcare Leadership Awards Chairman Mark Gothberg.
