ATLANTA, Oct. 2—Two Websites redesigned by interactive healthcare marketing group AVID Design were recently selected as finalists for Greystone.Net's Seventh Annual Best in Class Awards.
MCGHealth's mcghealth.org and MUSC Health's muschealth.com — both of which were redesigned by AVID Design—are finalists in the "Best Redesigned Website for an Academic Medical Center" category.
Winners will be announced at the 2009 Greystone.Net Client Conference in Las Vegas on November 2, where AVID Design will also be delivering its “Think Before You Do: Building Conversion-Driven Websites That Make Money” presentation.
This year's competition was very robust, said Greystone.Net President Kathy Divis. "We had over 140 entries and more than 50 finalists in 11 categories," said Divis.
"We are extremely delighted to hear the news, both for ourselves and especially for our clients," said AVID Design President Tom Brand. "It's affirming to learn that our carefully developed design strategies and best practices for hospital and healthcare Website design —and redesign, for that matter—are being recognized as among the best in the nation."
