AVID Design Helps MCGHealth, Phoebe Putney Win Awards at GSHMPR Conference

ATLANTA, May 10 –Atlanta healthcare interactive marketing group AVID Design recently attended The Georgia Hospital Association’s (GHA) Georgia Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations (GSHMPR) 2010 Annual Conference, where their Website design, module creation and digital signage installation for MCGHealth and Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital helped to win several awards for the two hospitals.

 

MCGHealth won two awards—a silver award and gold award. The silver award was won for overall Website design and development, and was the only Website to receive an award for Website design. The gold award was won in the “Employee Communications” category for MCGHealth’s “Daily Update,” which is an email newsletter tool that was custom built by AVID Design. The tool allows for employee-facing news stories to be easily placed in it, and includes a calendar component that shows a census of hospital intake.

 

Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital also received a gold award for their digital signage initiative, where AVID Design delivered and installed their digital signage solution, CaptivCast™, to the hospital in an effort to spread dynamic multimedia messages throughout the hospital’s corridors, including in physician lounges and in common areas.
