Mark Samber Joins AVID Design as VP, Digital Strategy

Atlanta, April 25, 2017 – AVID Design announces Mark Samber, formerly Director of Digital Strategy & Web Marketing at Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), joins the AVID Design leadership team as VP, Digital Strategy. “This important expansion of AVID’s leadership team will make a significant impact with our clients, “stated Tom Brand, President, AVID Design. “We look forward to Mark enhancing the partnerships we have established with our many clients in the healthcare industry and expanding the depth of digital strategy services we offer.”

With a PhD from Carnegie Mellon University and nearly two decades of experience leading digital teams with a strong focus on digital strategy and UX, Samber adds strength to the AVID team across several key areas, including:

  • Strategic communications throughout all levels of healthcare leadership
  • Designing user experiences (UX) that are responsive, accessible, and compliant for all users
  • Patient-centered design and physician directory strategies
  • Effective search and multi-channel marketing tactics that deliver strong campaign ROI
  • Best practices for user experience (UX) and responsive design
  • Strategies for integrating Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Content Management Systems
