Project Overview
AVID Design provided several services to Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University for their Website redesign initiative and SEO overhaul.
Winship Cancer Institute came to AVID Design expressing their need to match new design standards that
emory.edu and
emoryhealthcare.org had adopted.
The Website redesign process included building the site on AVID Design’s custom built content management system (CMS), along with the addition of several of AVID Design’s Web modules including:
- AVID CMS – Find a Physician
- AVID CMS – Event Registration Module
- News Module
- Video Module
AVID Design also provided search engine optimization (SEO) services for specific cancer types using best practices.
The project also involved:
To improve site conversions and calls to actions, AVID Design will be providing future enhancements to increase Winship Cancer Institute’s return on investment.
The redesigned site was launched in April 2010
