Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida | Vida Sana
AVID Design, Inc. of Atlanta, Georgia recently completed a Spanish, informational vodcast video, titled Vida Sana, for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida. AVID was contracted in conjunction with Staywell Custom Communications, to create the targeted, Web broadcast presentation in support of Blue Cross’ growing diversity initiative in Central Florida.
The ensemble, morning show format video was written, cast, filmed and produced entirely in house, with post-production motion graphics and video editing also completed at AVID’s state of the art facility in Atlanta.
Special considerations for the production included a multi-national, bilingual assembly, both in front of and behind the cameras. A Hispanic Director was enlisted to oversee filming of the vignette, with Hispanic Representatives of BCBSF on site to oversee dialog. Colors and themes were selected during set design to appeal to the market, as well as accommodate the Vida Sana campaign logo. And, high definition camera operators, lighting crew, a sound technician, make-up artist and teleprompter operator were on hand to ensure correct technical aspects of the production.
Vida Sana is expected to help open doors for Blue Cross into other Latin markets across the US, broadening the company’s reach and ability to grow in an insurance industry leadership role within this rapidly expanding demographic.
