Project Overview
AVID Design was originally contracted as a consultant to develop a Web strategy and governance for MCGHealth that included policies and procedures for:

• Architecture Development
• Content Management
• Conversion Improvements
• Search Engine Optimization
• Sustainability

AVID Design was later hired to deliver the recommended services and products, which also included:

• AVID CMS
• Buildout
• CMS integration
• Content Porting (from a previous Cascade Server CMS)
• Dynamic Modules
• Hosting on AVID Design’s Web Server
• IT Coordination
• Online Videos
• Virtual Tours
• Website Design

Work was completed and the site was launched in May 2009.

The health system also includes a variety of dedicated centers and units, such as the MCGHealth Sports Medicine Center.
