West Virginia University Health Science Center Website Design

The Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center is among the few institutions nationwide that support medical, dental, nursing, and pharmacy care as well as advanced medical research and education. Through a unique combination of state and federal support, charitable contributions from individuals and foundations, and investments from private corporations, the Health Sciences Center has developed comprehensive health care and biological science programs.

WVU desired a new and unique way to display "the exciting work that the scientists at West Virginia University are conducting in the areas of heart, lung, cancer the immune system, the brain and in developing new ways to prevent and detect disease and care for patients." Through extensive on location video interviews with both patients and staff  AVID Design first created a CD to be used as an informative tool for prospective students, staff and donors. After much success of the CD, AVID Design created a web site with extended content.
